Tiffany N. Santos is currently Senior Counsel in Chevron Corporation’s Employment Law Group where she is responsible for ERISA compliance with respect to Chevron’s health and welfare benefit programs. Prior to joining Chevron, Tiffany was a Director at a San Francisco employee benefits law firm where she represented employers, multiemployer trusts and public retiree medical trusts on all aspects of their employee benefit plans. She also advised clients on the negotiation of complex investment management agreements and assisted with due diligence reviews in mergers and acquisitions and in the post-deal integration of benefits. Tiffany has also represented clients in Department of Labor and Department of Health and Human Services investigations and in Internal Revenue Service audits.

Tiffany frequently makes presentations on health plan matters, including Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, and cafeteria plans, and on investment-related matters, including ERISA’s impact on alternative investments.

Tiffany has been listed as a Northern California “Super Lawyer” in the area of employee benefits law and has also been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers® in America in 2021 in the practice area of Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law.
