Jeffrey S. Endick

Jeffrey S. Endick is a principal with the Washington D.C. law firm of Slevin & Hart, P.C. and has been practicing in the area of employee benefits since 1981. He represents a number of multiemployer pension and health and welfare funds, as well as employee benefit plans maintained by tax-exempt organizations. Mr. Endick counsels clients on tax qualification issues, including plan design and the implementation of administrative procedures to comply with the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA. Mr. Endick also has extensive experience counseling clients on the fiduciary rules of Title I of ERISA, particularly in the area of investment management. Mr. Endick has had considerable experience in negotiating investment management agreements, including participation in limited partnerships and limited liability companies involving alternative asset classes, such as real estate, hedge funds and private equity. Mr. Endick is a magna cum laude graduate of the State University of New York, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from Cornell University.
Mr. Endick has written articles about reporting and disclosure rules for multiemployer plans, asset reversion, maintenance of cafeteria plans, and other employee benefits issues. He also has spoken at numerous conferences of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Mr. Endick is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and New York.
