David A. Hildebrandt

David Hildebrandt is a 1970 Order of the Coif graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, and has an undergraduate BS (1967) in Accounting (CPA 1973) from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the DC Court of Appeals, and several states. He began his ERISA practice in DC in 1974 with Lee, Toomey and Kent. He later joined the DC based firm, Dow, Lohnes and Albertson, and the international firm of White & Case. He is now a partner with Kirton & McConkie in Salt Lake City, Utah. His practice includes the design, implementation, administration and government regulation of domestic and international employee benefit programs. Primary US clients are Fortune 200 companies. Internationally, he has represented companies in the EU and China. From 1974 to 2004 David was the General Counsel to the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA), www.psca.org. David is the current Chairman, Association International Pour la Participation Financiere (IAFP), www.iafp.eu.com, Paris, France. IAFP is the international association which supports financial participation for employees. As Chairman he consults with the European Union on the harmonization of benefit program laws for EU Member States.
